Job Description:

Main Purpose of the Job

  • Independently drive the business growth in a specific territory within a market company based on industry mapping, identify, prioritize and pursue business opportunities with new customer prospects and secure future business. Develop and drive execution of prospect account plan aligned to company and customer business objectives.

Key Outputs and Measurements

  • Business development plan creation and execution, # of Suspects turned in to prospects, prospects mapping, sales targets execution, customer start up participation

Key Relationships

  • Internal – Operational Marketing team, TKAMs, SCO/CSR, Finance, Processing, Environment / External: Customers, Food industry network, Customer network, trade shows

Key Responsibilities

  • Relevant industry mapping (within the assigned territory) and creation of prospection plan.
  • Sales Mgnt Relationship Management.
  • Lead the sales to identified prospects in the assigned territory
  • Customer Management during start up phase.
  • Portfolio Deployment
  • Providing inputs to MPM (intelligence, portfolio requirements etc.)
Job Requirements:
  • Graduation and post-graduation in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing or Engineering
  • Minimum 2 years of Sales/BD experience in company or externally minimum 4 years of BD experience
  • Have successful track record of generating new business (suspect to prospect)
  • Understanding of local market / customers / categories mapping to identify opportunities
  • Ability to assess and qualify opportunities along with other functions – TS / Processing etc.
