Job Description:
  • Assists with completing EHS program or project tasks or activities from inception to completion.
  • Collect data and report for compliance with Local, Federal, and State laws.
  • Assist plant management to ensure that all departments comply with applicable regulations related to storage and disposal of industrial waste.
  • Be the point person for daily EHS issues.
  • Interface with EHS personnel at other facilities to exchange ideas/information and to insure consistent high-quality response to EHS Issues.
  • Coordinate and administer plant-wide waste and energy reduction plans.
  • Train employees on Safety, investigate accidents, and audit 5S system.
  • Evaluate, respond and report to all emergency situations.
  • Ensure team members receive all required environmental and safety training as scheduled.
  • Actively engage employees on the importance/benefits or working carefully.
  • Plan and facilitate team EHS meetings.
  • Maintain and share records and statistics.
  • Understand and fulfill knowledge of MSDS and basic EHS requirements.
  • Act as liaison between teams, shifts, and facility EHS lead.
  • Implements facility level EHS management systems to maintain compliance, environmental protection and safe operating conditions
  • Track and regularly report the status of regulatory compliance and improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as a resource to the site manager in regards to EHS matters and act as daily point of contact for all EHS issues.  Assists line and staff management in understanding EHS regulations and standards, including guidance on handling EHS compliance, inspections, and citations.
  • Function as the contractor-plant representative to assure compliance of all PSM-related requirements from contractors.
  • Manage Job Safety Analysis program and EHS PPE compliance program. 
Job Requirements:
  • Degree in Technical or other related field
  • At least 3 - 4 years exposure in complex industrial operations,
  • 1 - 2 years of which will have been in a Management position is an advantageous
  • Good in English and Vietnamese (04 skills). 
  • Intermediate computer skill (advanced skill will be advantageous).
  • Inter-functional Business understanding and knowledge.
  • Emphasized common and managing skills: Flexibility, Initiative, Oral/Written communication, Decision Making, Creativity, Analyzing, Planning, Analytical, Problem Solving, Integrity, Visioning, Motivation, Organizing and Organization Sensitivity.
  • Training: As job of scope, the position will be provided mandatory training courses and advance training courses as Corporate and company policy
